Before You Apply
Before You Apply.
Quietly answered.
1. Is this only for Hindus or religious people?
Rooted in Sanatan Dharma — bhakti to Mahadev, Sanskrit shlokas, sattvic living, no non-veg. If these resonate, Kashi welcomes you.
2. Are the Saptarishi & 10:30 PM Shayan Aartis optional?
They are the heart of the trip. No one has ever wanted to miss them.
3. What about the heat or the weather?
We choose months that hold their own spiritual weight in Kashi. Some are quieter, less crowded. We walk at dawn (5–9 AM) and from dusk into the night (6 PM – midnight), rest at the villa during midday with AC throughout, and keep you held through it.
4. What’s the food situation?
Pure sattvic. No eggs, no non-vegetarian. Jain, gluten-free, and diabetic needs accommodated with notice.
5. Is this safe for women travelling solo?
Over 40% of past guests have been solo women. The group travels together always, including the late aartis.
6. What’s the investment?
Everything is included — the heritage stay, all meals, every experience. The investment is shared personally once you reach out, so the conversation begins with the journey, not the number.
7. What’s the cancellation policy?
There is no fee to apply. After Anshu’s team connects with you and your seat is confirmed in writing, the detailed cancellation schedule applies. Medical emergencies handled humanely.
8. What’s the age range?
16 to no upper limit, basis health condition. Past editions: 28 to 70.
9. Who else will be in the group?
Ten seekers, vetted via application — industrialists, founders, doctors, artists, couples, solo women. The conversation ensures vibe alignment.
10. How do I get there?
Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport (also known as Babatpur, 18 km from villa) or Varanasi Junction (15 min from villa). All transfers from arrival to departure included.
11. Getting around is on foot and by auto.
Cars cannot enter most of the old town; expect autos, tuk-tuks, and a good deal of walking.
12. You will walk. A lot.
Four to five kilometres each day, often over uneven ground. Come only if your health allows it comfortably.
13. Rooms are shared.
Couples or friends share together; solo seekers share with one other guest. A private room is not part of the format.
14. Please plan your arrival.
Reach Varanasi Airport or Junction between 10 AM and 1 PM on Day 1, so the day begins gently, together.
15. The itinerary is indicative, and Kashi has the final word.
The plan shifts with the weather and the river. We follow her rhythm, not a fixed schedule.
